Jenner & Block has snagged privacy attorney Nancy C. Libin and named her partner of its Washington office, the law firm announced Oct. 26.
Libin’s practice focuses on law and policy with an emphasis on consumer protection and privacy, national security and cybersecurity matters. Libin came to Jenner & Block from Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, where she helmed its privacy group.
Prior to that, Libin worked as a chief privacy and civil liberties officer at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served as principal privacy adviser to the deputy attorney general.
