Judge David Tatel of the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will rejoin Hogan Lovells as senior counsel in the Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Wednesday.
Tatel previously served as a partner at Hogan & Hartson, the firm’s predecessor, where he founded the education practice and worked closely with the pro bono and appellate practices, said Hogan Lovells.
He has presided over voting rights issues, the military trials at Guantánamo Bay, and constitutional and administrative appeals, according to Hogan Lovells.
