Data-management services provider Zeroed-In Technologies LLC must face several claims of a proposed class action alleging it failed to protect the personal information of more than 2 million Dollar Tree Inc. employees and customers in a 2023 data breach.
The 25 plaintiffs alleged concrete injuries sufficient to establish their standing to sue in federal court, and adequately pleaded claims of negligence, breach of third-party beneficiary contract, and unjust enrichment, Judge Brendan A. Hurson of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said March 26.
