EEOC Ordered to Disclose Claimant Names to Kaplan

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission must disclose sufficient information to enable the identification of all individuals it claims have been injured by Kaplan Higher Education Corp.'s employment-related credit check policy, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio ruled April 18 (EEOC v. Kaplan Higher Educ. Corp.).

EEOC’s nationwide class action claims that Kaplan has a policy of discriminating against African American applicants by using their credit histories as a criterion in hiring.
