The Dutch data protection authority March 19 said it will hold off taking enforcement action against TP Vision, a company that produces smart televisions for Dutch multinational Koninklijke Philips NV, after the company agreed to provide more information to users on its processing of personal data and placement of cookies.
Separately, another regulator, the Dutch Consumer and Market Authority (Autoriteit Consument & Markt, ACM), said in a March 11 statement that it would actively enforce amended cookie rules that came into force in the Netherlands on that day.
