DraftKings Hit With Video Privacy Suit Over Meta Info Sharing

DraftKings Inc. shared the video-viewing and video-game playing histories of its account holders without their consent with Meta Platforms Inc. and other third parties in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act, a proposed federal class action said.

Lead plaintiff Jeffrey Wan alleged that DraftKings incorporated online tracking tools from Meta’s Facebook unit on its website, allowing the tech company to collect information about videos and games viewed and requested by DraftKings account holders.
