DISH Network Hit With Class Action Over February Data Breach

DISH Network Corp. was allegedly negligent in failing to protect the personal information of customers and employees in connection with a February ransomware attack and data breach, a new proposed federal class action said.

Alan Ellerbrock alleged the company failed to take reasonable steps to protect sensitive information, comply with FTC data-security guidelines, monitor its data network, or provide adequate notice of the breach to victims.
