DialAmerica Marketing Inc. was hit with a proposed class action over claims that the for-profit call center failed to safeguard employee information, leading to a data breach which compromised their sensitive information.
Allen Moure sued DialAmerica on Tuesday, alleging that his full name, address, Social Security number, and employee identification number were exposed in the 2021 breach. Moure claims that DialAmerica didn’t notice the breach for six months, and didn’t notify employees that their information had been hacked until nine months after the breach was discovered.
