Data Breach Suits Against Customer Service Company Consolidated

A duo of proposed data breach class actions against a customer service technology company are being consolidated because they involve common questions of law and fact, a Colorado federal judge ruled.

The lawsuits against Englewood, Colo.-based TTEC Services Corp. both involve people whose personal information was compromised in a data breach, making consolidation appropriate here, Chief Judge Philip A. Brimmer wrote in an order filed April 8 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Attorneys representing TTEC didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
