The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has slated a compressed series of four town hall meetings in June to gather feedback on refining the scope of a Biden-era cyber incident reporting rule.
CISA, which had postponed plans for the meetings during a partial government shutdown, is seeking input on how to improve its rule, which would implement the Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act of 2022, or CIRCIA, and create stringent disclosure requirements for critical infrastructure entities after cyber incidents like ransomware attacks.
