Cuomo Wants LGBTQ Dating App Privacy Protections

The LGBTQ community in New York needs additional privacy protections on dating apps, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.

Cuomo (D), as part of his Jan. 8 State of the State proposals, called for updating New York’s Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights. His plan would change “members of the opposite sex” to “persons” and expand coverage under the bill of rights to all dating apps, not just those charging fees.
