CorrectCare’s $6.49 Million Breach Deal Gets Final Court Nod

Prison health-care administrator CorrectCare Integrated Health LLC will pay $6.49 million to settle allegations it failed to protect the personal information of 572,453 inmates that was exposed in a January 2022 data breach, under a deal given final approval by a federal court.

Class members will be eligible for up to $10,000 each in reimbursement for documented out-of-pockets losses, or an alternative cash payment for those without documented losses.
