Continuum Health Faces Suit Over Data Breach, Notification Delay

A proposed class action accuses Continuum Health Alliance LLC of negligence in both securing patients’ personal information from criminal hackers and waiting six months to notify the over 370,000 affected by the October 2023 data breach.

Continuum’s failure to meet federal- and state-mandated privacy safeguards led to exposure of the patients’ sensitive data and medical records, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
