Connecticut Keeps Heat on Meta Over Facebook Privacy Lapse (1)

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong said he is “still very much” focused on examining alleged impropriety by Meta Platforms Inc. when it shared Facebook users’ data with Cambridge Analytica ahead of the 2016 election. Despite ongoing conversations, Tong said Meta has yet to demonstrate that legal action shouldn’t move forward over alleged misleading of consumers over the social media giant’s privacy practices.
