Connected Ventures LLC faces a proposed class action accusing it of violating federal law by sharing its viewers’ data with Meta Platforms Inc. and others without consent.

Connected Ventures, which operates online content including Dropout TV, a comedy streaming platform, installed a tracking pixel on its site and shared consumers’ viewing history and personally identifiable information to third-party providers without consent, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
