Clark & Fox Successfully Axes Ex-Worker Computer Fraud Claims

A New York City area law firm succeeded in dismissing computer fraud claims leveled against it by ex-employees, but failed to convince a federal judge to scrap claims alleging violation of the Stored Communications Act.

The plaintiffs didn’t show the damage necessary to state a claim under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein wrote in an order filed Feb. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
