CityMD Sued Over Data Shared With Meta, Google, Microsoft (1)

New York City-based CityMD disclosed the personal health information of patients at its medical clinics to Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, Microsoft Corp., and other third parties in violation of federal and state privacy laws, a proposed federal class action said.

The lawsuit is the latest in a wave of litigation against health care providers and tech companies over the use of online tracking technologies on provider websites.
