Citrix Employees Secure $2.3 Million Settlement for Data Breach

Citrix Systems Inc.'s $2.275 million settlement offer to a class of current and former employees whose data was compromised by hackers over a five-month period earned a Florida federal judge’s initial approval.

Judge Ron K. Altman preliminarily approved the class’s unopposed motion to approve the settlement terms Tuesday for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The fund will provide an estimated 24,316 class members with up to five years of credit monitoring services, identity theft restoration services for individuals who experienced identity theft or fraud, and up to $15,000 in reimbursement for out-of-pocket losses, subject to ...
