Chipotle Employee Drops Would-Be Class Suit Over Data Breach

A former Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. employee voluntarily dismissed his proposed data breach class suit stemming from suspicious activity the company detected in October 2025 within its workers’ Workday payroll accounts.

Citing a notice that Chipotle sent to the New Hampshire state government, plaintiff Christian Jasso believed that names, Social Security numbers, birthdays, and banking information were compromised in the data breach, according to the lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
