China Finds 129 Apps Illegally Collecting Personal Information

China found violations in 129 apps including Toutiao operated by Beijing ByteDance, Tencent News and Sina News over collecting personal information, according to a statement on Cyberspace Administration of China website.

  • The administration urges app operators to rectify problems within 15 working days and submit reports
