Companies may see lower costs associated with data breaches in 2014, but health-care sector breaches will likely be on the increase during the year, according to a new white paper from Experian Data Breach Resolution.
“The cost of a data breach is likely to continue to decline, largely due to increased awareness among organizations of how to prepare for and mitigate the damage caused by any single incident,” according to the paper, authored by Michael Bruemmer, vice president of Experian Data Breach Resolution—a division of Experian Information Solutions Inc.
