Blackbaud Inc., a cloud services provider, faces a potential class action for allegedly failing to stop a ransomware attack that exposed nonprofit membership data.
Two people whose data was held by Bread for the World and Planned Parenthood, which use the company as a vendor, also allege Blackbaud was too slow to disclose the breach, according to a Sept. 11 filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
