Biometric Privacy Suit Dismissed, Attorneys Admonished by Judge

A proposed biometric privacy class action against a national school bus company was axed by an Illinois federal judge after the plaintiff stopped communicating with her attorneys.

The lawsuit against First Student Inc. is dismissed with prejudice for want of prosecution, or lack of activity in the case, Judge Manish S. Shah wrote in a minute entry filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
