Biden Artificial Intelligence Aide Departs White House Tech Team

A top artificial intelligence adviser to President Joe Biden left the administration on Thursday, he said in a statement, as the White House weighs how to grow and police the emerging technology.

Alexander Macgillivray, who helped write the president’s proposal for an AI Bill of Rights, effectively ran the Office of the U.S. Chief Technology Officer, which the White House calls its Tech Team. The group is charged with influencing the development and use of AI.
