Baseball America Hit With Subscriber Suit Over Meta Info Sharing

Baseball America Inc. shared the video-watching histories of subscribers with Meta Platforms Inc. and Google Inc. in violation of state and federal privacy laws, a proposed federal class action said.

Lead plaintiffs Joseph Messina, Clint Scoles, and Clifton Diaz alleged that Baseball America incorporated tracking tools from Meta’s Facebook unit and Google on the baseballamerica.com website, allowing the social media companies to collect information arising from user interactions there.
