Matthew Van Hise joined BakerHostetler as a partner in its digital assets and data management practice group in Chicago, the firm announced Tuesday.
Van Hise’s practice focuses on privacy and data security policies and data governance processes. He provides oversight and legal guidance on complex privacy and security investigations and helps clients develop privacy and security governance programs, confront security incidents and respond to regulatory inquiries, the firm said.
He joins from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
