AT&T Data-Breach Class Actions Consolidated in North Texas Court

Twelve putative class actions regarding a breach of AT&T Inc. systems were sent to the Northern District of Texas on Wednesday.

The US Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation consolidated the cases based on their basis in a data breach involving more than 70 million former and current AT&T customers announced by the company in March. Common questions include how and when the breach occurred and details on AT&T’s data security procedures.
