Apple’s Cook ‘Concerned’ About Privacy, Security of Outside Apps

Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook warned of the privacy and security risks of allowing apps to be installed on iPhones from outside of its app store.

“We are deeply concerned about regulations that would undermine privacy and security in service of some other aim,” Cook said at an event hosted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
