Apple’s $95 Million Deal Over Siri Recordings Gets Final Nod

Apple Inc. will pay $95 million to settle a class action alleging its Siri virtual assistant obtained users’ private communications after being unintentionally activated and shared them with third parties.

Judge Jeffrey S. White of the US District Court for the Northern District of California granted the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of the settlement in a Thursday order.
