An anonymous sperm donor sued Genetics & IVF Institute Inc. on Monday after he started receiving messages from people who said they were his children.
The donor, who was paid to participate in an anonymous program at Fairfax Cryobank Inc. as a college student in 2002, accused the clinic of failing to tell him his anonymity could be compromised by rising genetic technology such as 23andMe and AncestryDNA, or take steps to prevent that from happening.
