Americold Logistics LLC will be allowed to face a lawsuit over a data breach in federal court in Illinois, after a judge rejected an affected employee’s motion to remand the case back to state court.
Richard Bridgewater filed the proposed class action in state court, alleging that Americold’s lax cybersecurity measures allowed a data breach in which hackers gained access to employees’ personal information.
