Align Technology Inc. and a consumer agreed to dismiss a suit alleging that Align violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by contacting consumers after they opted out of communications.
Anna Gill filed the proposed class action against Align, claiming that she visited invisalign.com, voluntarily answered a few questions, and provided her email address and phone number to receive more information. A few months later, Gill, via email, unsubscribed from further communications but still received a text and then a phone call from Invisalign shortly after.
