Laura Medina alleged that Albertsons breached its duty to protect employees’ personal information, failed to comply with the data-security guidelines of the FTC, and failed to follow industry standards for the protection of sensitive data.
The grocery company also failed to provide affected individuals timely notice of the breach, she said.
