Generative artificial intelligence adoption in corporate legal departments increased significantly in 2024, a new survey found.
Forty-four percent of legal department leaders surveyed for FTI Consulting and Relativity’s 2025 General Counsel Report released Wednesday said their departments are using gen AI, up from 28% in the 2024 report.
The growing adoption of gen AI in legal departments reflects the realization of the long-professed belief that legal work is uniquely suited for AI transformation.
