ADT ShinyHunters Data Breach Litigation Loses Some Plaintiffs

The number of plaintiffs suing ADT Inc over a data breach that affected 5.5 million accounts has shrunk after multiple plaintiffs filed motions to voluntarily dismiss their claims without prejudice.

Plaintiffs Maurice Beckwith, David St. John, and Jennifer Smith all filed notices in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida after previously suing the security company for failing to prevent a ShinyHunters voice phishing attack.
