Accolade Employees Get Court Okay in Tax Phishing Scheme Action

Accolade Inc. employees scored an early victory when a federal court preliminary approved their settlement with the company over a 2017 data breach.

The health-assistant company will pay each class member up to $1,500 if they spent “at least one full hour dealing with the theft of their PII,” according to the court order. The company will also provide 24 months of identity protection services for the settlement class, the court said.
