Zoloft Defendants Urge MDL Court To Reject Plaintiffs’ Latest Causation Expert

Zoloft plaintiffs’ new proposed expert doesn’t offer a reliable scientific basis for his opinion that prenatal exposure to the antidepressant causes cardiac birth defects, defendants Pfizer Inc. and Greenstone LLC told the court overseeing multidistrict litigation (In re Zoloft (Sertraline Hydrochloride) Prod. Liab. Litig., E.D. Pa., 12-2342, motion filed 5/15/15).
