June 20 ended their patent dispute over Intellipharmaceutics’s plan to manufacture a generic copy of Effexor XR (HCl) extended-release capsules (venlafaxine hydrochloride) before three patents covering the drug expire (Wyeth LLC v. Intellipharmaceutics International Inc.).
U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the Southern District of New York entered a consent judgment settling the action.
