Virginia Medical Weed Grower Denied Challenge to Permit Loss

A Virginia medical marijuana grower failed to convince a state court to overturn the pharmacy board’s revocation of its conditional permit to operate a cannabis processing facility.

The Virginia Board of Pharmacy didn’t abuse its discretion by ending PharmaCann Virginia LLC’s application process after the grower failed to complete regulatory requirements for the facility within the required one-year time frame, the Virginia Court of Appeals said.

PharmaCann also failed to demonstrate that the board treated it differently from other conditional permit holders, the court said.
