U.S. Sanctions Argentina’s Goldpharma Over Opioids Sale in U.S.

U.S. Treasury Dept imposes sanctions on Buenos Aires-based Goldpharma, eight Argentine nationals and entities located in Argentina, Colombia, Canada, the U.K. and the Netherlands.

• Goldpharma operates a network of online pharmacy websites, which sell Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Tramadol without a prescription, Treasury says in a statement
• “Goldpharma sells the vast majority of its illicit opioids to customers located in the United States,” agency says
