A federal district court March 17 ended litigation between Theranos Inc. and Fuisz Pharma LLC after the parties settled Theranos’s allegations that Fuisz stole its confidential information to develop a bodily fluid analyzer (Theranos, Inc. v. Fuisz Pharma LLC).
The jury trial was in its third day when the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California discharged the jury because the parties had settled their dispute. Under the settlement, the parties agreed that all claims of the Fuisz patent, allegedly based on the stolen information, were found to be invalid.
