Teva Strengthens Respiratory Line With Acquisition of MicroDose Therapeutx

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. June 17 announced that it has a definitive agreement to acquire MicroDose Therapeutx.

MicroDose is a privately held pharmaceutical and drug delivery company focused on inhalation technologies and products for lung diseases and infections that could dramatically improve efficacy and patient compliance, Teva said.

Under the deal’s terms, Teva will acquire all of MicroDose’s outstanding shares for $40 million at closing.
