ST. LOUIS—St. Louis University announced the launch of a new medical research center that will be staffed by scientists recently laid off by Pfizer Inc. during a reorganization of the pharmaceutical giant’s research operations.
The center, called the Center for World Health and Medicine, will focus on medical problems common in the developing world, according to a SLU statement.
