Settlement Up to $10M Gains Final Nod In Celexa/Lexapro Marketing Suit

A potential $10.35 million federal class settlement in a Missouri Celexa/Lexapro deceptive marketing case won final approval from the District of Massachusetts over an objection from a plaintiff in a similar Missouri state court proceeding (In re Celexa &Lexapro Sales Prac. & Mktg. Litig., D. Mass., 09-2067, 9/8/14).

The settlement, as approved Sept. 8, provides for attorneys’ fees of up to $2,796,250, and incentive payments of $10,000 each to the named plaintiffs Ruth Dunham and Tanya Shippy.
