Roche Says Valeritas Diabetes Med Tech Infringes Patent

Roche Diabetes Care says Valeritas Inc. is infringing its patent on an insulin delivery device and it wants Valeritas to stop. It also wants damages.

Roche sued Valeritas for patent infringement in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The complaint says Valeritas’s V-Go insulin delivery devices infringe Roche’s U.S. Patent No. 6,736,795 relating to devices for administering an injectable product. The patent covers Roche’s Accu-Chek insulin delivery device technology and its associated Accu-Chek products.
