Nurture Must Face Bulk of Baby Food Heavy Metal Deception Suit

Nurture LLC failed to convince a federal judge to toss a consolidated proposed class action alleging the company deceived parents into thinking its baby foods were safe and healthy despite containing heavy metals.

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday allowed most of the consumers’ claims to proceed, but dismissed a claim for unjust enrichment and a handful of consumer protection claims under California law.
