The National Cancer Institute plans to roll out a new cancer screening network to increase access to early detection programs while advancing research to screen for multiple cancers at the same time.
The network is still in the planning stages and details about how the program will work aren’t available yet, NCI Director Monica Bertagnolli said in an interview Wednesday. But a key part of the new initiative is reaching as broad and diverse a study population as possible.
