Mylan, Sandoz Launch Generics of Exforge

Mylan NV March 31 announced that it has launched a generic version of Novartis’s Exforge (amlodipine and valsartan) 5 mg/160 mg, 5 mg/320 mg, 10 mg/160 mg and 10 mg/320 mg tablets.

The company, which is incorporated under Netherlands law but based in the U.K., said it received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration for this product. Also, Princeton, N.J.-based Sandoz, part of Novartis, announced on March 31 that it has launched an authorized generic version of Exforge.
