New Jersey-based drugmaker Merck & Co., maker of the allergy nasal spray Nasonex, April 2 sued generic company Apotex Inc., alleging its proposed generic version infringes a Merck patent on the drug (Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. v. Apotex, Inc.filed).
The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, marks the second infringement suit brought against Apotex over Nasonex.
