Medline Industries Inc. and Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC have shown that the Department of Veterans Affairs’ plan to transfer its medical supplies program to the Defense Logistics Agency must be enjoined permanently, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims said.
Medline and Concordance filed protests earlier this year. According to Medline, the VA improperly decided to transfer requirements for the VA’s Medical-Surgical Prime Vendor program to two DLA contractors “without any semblance of full and open competition.” The MSPV program is worth about $10 billion over 9 years, Medline’s complaint said.
